Amazing venue, the staff were incredibly helpful and patient. Place was spotless, the food was amazing.

We had our wedding at Allerton Castle in May and the experience was not only unforgettable and magical but also a breeze. From the moment we saw photos of the castle we knew that was our venue. Sophie was our coordinator and she was so helpful the entire process. We were planning everything from the US, so we figured it was going to be very difficult to get this coordinated. We were wrong though. Sophie answered all of our questions swiftly and with detail. She had suggestions for us when we needed vendor advice, and the venue as a whole, was very flexible with any requests that we had. Bradshaw’s (catering for the venue) was equally as helpful and kind. The venue is absolutely stunning. Every room more impressive than the last. Warning, we barely had guests dancing because they were too busy exploring and taking photos of the space itself. On the actual wedding day, everything went without a hitch, and everyone was floored by the venue. It was a lot to ask of our guests to all fly in from the US, but we got an overwhelming response that it was worth the journey. We had dozens of guest tell us that they’d been to many weddings where the food was sub-par but that the food at Allerton (Bradshaws) was the best they’d had. Thank you so much Allerton Castle for making this truly the most magical day in our lives

Beautiful Beautiful house. The owner has done a fantastic job at restoration. It's breath taking. I'd highly recommend it for a wedding the photos would be gorgeous. The guide Linda was very knowledgeable and worth the £13.50 for the guided tour. Highly recommend it

My husband and I chose Allerton Castle as our wedding venue for November of this year, and we definitely made the right decision! Our wedding planner, Zoë, was amazing from day 1, always there if we needed her, and gave us so much support and guidance and really went above and beyond on our wedding day. The Allerton Castle selected caterers, Bradshaw's of York, gave an excellent choice of food and drinks and were prepared to cater for my gluten free guests. All of the food and drinks were brilliant and excellent quality and the service was outstanding. All of the staff on the day were extremely professional and pleasant. We stayed overnight and the bed fit for royalty within the bridal suite was extremely comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was lovely too. Ourselves and our guests were all stunned with the beauty and detail of the building both inside and out, it really has a wow factor! I really could not recommend Allerton Castle enough for people who are considering it for their wedding venue. It was the best day of my life and I wish I could go back and do it all over again!

I brought the groom and best man here before going onto Ripon Cathedral for the ceremony then back here fore the reception. Wow, what a beautiful place! Had no idea it was here but its stunning. I intend to book a trip round the house this year.

One of our favourite venues in the area! We've provided wedding bands and DJs on numerous occasions and would continue to recommend this fantastic venue - beautiful setting and wonderful staff. Perfect for live music and a brilliant party atmosphere.

I regular use Allerton castle and grounds to run workshops and training for my dog sport training business. To state the obvious, the castle and grounds are beautiful in themselves, but on top of that, the staff always go above and beyond to accomodate our needs. Communication on the lead to events is always attentive and timely and the whole experience from start to finish is super and stress free. Can highly recommend both the inside and outdoor grounds for business functions, workshops and events ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Having now married my wife at Allerton Castle, the memories I have are immense, and it's down to every single person that attended, the partners we employed for their services, and how incredibly well coordinated the team of wedding planners at Allerton Castle delivered the day! Allerton Castle will always be as stunning and perfect as it is, but it is the team behind the scenes deserve the biggest shout out! True perfection! Thank you, Jess, Libby and team!
